Crystina is Mercon Specialty’s newest employee, taking on the role as Customer Service Assistant. She moved to Seattle from Tampa, Florida in 2014 to pursue her dream of living in the Pacific Northwest. She has 15 years of experience in the coffee industry, ranging from barista to store manager to roaster. Her most recent role with Cloud City Coffee Roasting led her to work in the space at Mercon Specialty in December of 2020. She began helping with packaging and deliveries, and eventually learned to roast coffee and completed her Probat P12 Roasting Certification in 2021. When the customer service position became available at Mercon Specialty, she knew it would be a perfect fit for her.
Prior to working with Cloud City, Crystina completed her BGA Level 1 Certification in 2016. She is passionate about good coffee and continuing to improve her craft. Outside of work, Crystina loves photography, houseplants, going on hikes, and spending time with her partner Nick and son Connor. Crystina is very excited to be working with the team at Mercon Specialty and to be a part of the Mercon Coffee Group. She is looking forward to learning more about from her highly skilled colleagues.
