Colombia is the world's 3rd largest coffee-growing country producing approximately 11-13 million 60kg bags per year. The average farm’s size is quite small at 1-5 hectares.
Colombia Excelso Sierra Nevada Organic is grown in the coastal mountain range in the region of Santa Marta. The region is in the Magdalena Department in northern Colombia. Coffee is grown using organic farming practices and is wet-processed. Typica, Caturra, and Castillo varieties are grown in Santa Marta. Resulting in a flavor profile of medium body, well-balanced acidity, and nutty aftertaste.
